Colorado

I have been going to Colorado since I was a kid. My earliest trip was to the Phillips University Science Camp near Alamosa. We stayed in a cabin and hiked every day. Cool nights and warm days–I love it!

Most of our trips have been hiking trips. I did go skiing in Breckenridge when I was in High School, but that story is for another day.

Colorado Springs draws more than 6 million visitors each year (including us)! It is nestled at the foot of Pike’s Peak and what TripAdvisor ranks as the #1 U.S. Park, Garden of the Gods.

Denver is not to be left out of your plans while you are in Colorado. Home to Red Rocks Park Ampitheatre, many museums and parks, and of course home to the Broncos.
