Dallas
When you hear “Dallas” do you think about the sprawling Southfork Ranch and the Ewing family? Or, do you think about the 9th largest city in the United States? Or, perhaps you think about the professional hockey team the Dallas Stars or the football team the Cowboys?
Dallas is certainly a fast-paced mecca for business, but also incredible museums, galleries and pockets or districts with distinct culture and activities. Bishop Arts District, Deep Ellum, and the incredible Reunion Tower which stretches 561 feet into the sky and provides incredible views of the metroplex.
If you like to hike or bike, there are hundreds of trails, including the Katy Trail and Trinity River Trails. We took our e-bikes out for a spin around the White Rock Lake Trail. It is a beautiful lake, but we do recommend that you go during the weekdays when there aren’t so many other people there as well.
Speaking of White Rock Lake, it is one of several large lakes in the metroplex, each providing opportunities to boat, water ski, sail and fish.
